Launches a Visual Arts Education Program for Kindergarten and First Grade Students

Unlocking the Power of Art + Math Through Hands-On Learning and Exploration

WHO

The Olivia & Leslie Foundation, founded by Chris Kuenne and his sons, Peter, William and Matthew, is focused on bringing art education to young learners in celebration of the artistic lives of Olivia and Leslie.

HOW

Our curriculum includes 16 hours of arts education delivered over 8 weeks to teach the creative power of art + math.

WHY

Quality arts education coupled with parental involvement, is critical to early childhood development, helping kids grow up to become well-adjusted and engaged members of their communities. The child-parent connection through art nurtures creativity and academic success while strengthening the child’s self-confidence.

Build lifelong skills

Our Foundation is focused on building and implementing programs that teach hard and soft skills that will enhance children’s emotional and social development.

We introduce young children to the concepts that connect Art and Mathematics, such as spatial relationships, geometry, and symmetry. Children in our program also practice problem solving and collaboration, and in so doing, build their creative confidence.

Supporting children with different needs and backgrounds:

By integrating mathematical concepts in art classes, we cater to varied learning styles and ensure accessibility for all, which fosters a more inclusive and effective educational experience.
