In 2024 the Olivia and Leslie Foundation brought its Visual Arts Education curriculum to Hinesburg Community School. The program fosters creativity, problem solving and self-confidence in young students, making high-quality arts education accessible to all children.
Thank you, Hinesburg Community School for your collaboration and commitment to your students.
“Our families are excited to have these opportunities for expanding the curriculum in a fun way — and one that also speaks to where our children are in learning and development.”
—Suzan Locke, principal of Hinesburg Community School
The initial curriculum was developed by leading arts educators and will continually evolve, based on analysis and research of its impact on students. The Foundation has partnered with Maker Prep, an organization devoted to supporting computer science and arts education. Read all about our program in Hinesburg here or read our press release here.
