Research
Why it’s important
We are committed to enhancing early childhood education in the communities we serve through our programs. In order to achieve this goal, we must continually research the educational and developmental effect our curriculum is having on the young children we teach. Through assessments conducted at the partnering school districts, we gauge the development of both hard and soft skills over time. This qualitative and quantitative information guides the Foundation in making necessary adjustments to our curriculum and its delivery to better support students and communities over time.
What our key research questions are
How does 16 hours of high-quality art + math education, coupled with free childcare, positively impact the social and emotional development of children and enhance family dynamics?
What developmental changes occur in the child’s creative problem-solving skills when children collaborate versus work individually?
To what extent are children’s self-confidence enhanced when they complete and share their artistic work with their peers and their parents?
