Mission and Values

To help narrow the widening educational disparities within the communities where Olivia and Leslie lived, the Foundation is launching a Visual Arts Education Program specifically tailored for kindergarten and 1st-grade students in Hinesburg, Vermont and Princeton, New Jersey. Our goal is to make high-quality arts education accessible to all children.

What we believe

The arts are a critical avenue for self-discovery and a means for young children to explore the way they see the world around them. Visual Arts should be an integral part of every child's formal education, serving as a catalyst for intellectual and emotional development and communal connection. Our approach is grounded in the theories of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky and informed by the latest research in neurodevelopment and psychology.

Our commitment

The initial curriculum has been developed and vetted by leading arts educators. We pledge to continually refine and evolve our curriculum based on thorough analysis and rigorous impact tracking. This ensures that our program remains dynamic and responsive to emerging theories of child development.
